How much · water
How much water does a household need?
The drinking + cooking water targets for households of 1, 2, 4, and 6 people across 72-hour, 2-week, and 3-month scopes.
All numbers are gallons of drinking and cooking water at the 1-gallon-per-person-per-day FEMA / Ready.gov baseline. Add 50% for utility water (hygiene, sanitation) if you want a comfortable posture.
